👋 |

I untangle messy data, build things on the internet, and spend an unhealthy amount of time finding opportunities most people never hear about.

how did we get here?

One thing led to another... and here we are.

I genuinely thought I'd end up building circuits. Instead, I somehow became the person moving terabytes of enterprise data around at TCS. Looking back, it makes sense. I've always been drawn to messy systems — the kind that make you stop and think, "There has to be a better way."

Then one question started following me everywhere. "Wait... how did you even find this scholarship?" I heard it from students. Professionals. Friends. At first, I thought they just hadn't looked hard enough. Then I looked again. They weren't missing opportunities because they lacked talent. They were missing them because nobody had connected the dots.

Once I noticed it, I couldn't stop noticing it. So I did what I usually do when something refuses to leave my head. I built Potenue. Not because I wanted another startup. Because I wanted one less problem to exist.

potenue

the problem i couldn't ignore.

Every time I searched for a scholarship or fellowship, I'd end up with 50 open tabs — scattered sites, messy formats, and half-expired deadlines. It felt exhausting, like you had to be "in the know" just to find a chance to grow.

When I spoke with other brilliant students and builders, they said the exact same thing. It wasn't a lack of talent — the information system itself was broken.

So I built Potenue: one searchable home focused exclusively on fully funded global opportunities that don't burn a hole in your pocket. Because ambition should never lose to open tabs, hidden costs, or missed deadlines.

What people say after working together

"

Okay wow. I sent Ankita a resume I was pretty proud of and got back something I barely recognized — in the best way! Two weeks later, three interview calls.

I would not have found this fellowship without Potenue's database, and I would not have gotten in without Ankita's notes on my statement of purpose. Both mattered, equally.

My LinkedIn was a ghost town. After one session with Ankita — rewriting my headline and About section around the roles I actually wanted — recruiters started reaching out to me instead of the other way around.

There was a version of my SOP that sounded like everyone else's. Ankita kept asking, "but why you?" — until what was left actually sounded like me, not a template.

Didn't know where to start with the scholarship form. Ankita walked me through it, section by section. Simple as that. It worked.

Calling myself a developer used to feel like a stretch. PyLadies Delhi changed that — and honestly, so did Ankita, showing up for every question no matter how basic it felt.

I'm 65, and I'd always wanted to try tech but was too shy and unsure of myself to start. At the Django Girls Delhi event, Ankita mentored me and made me feel completely included, never once making me feel behind. By the end of the day, with her patient guidance, I had built my very first website using the MVP framework. At my age, I never imagined I'd get to say that.
